Panama Pacifico's International Business Park

May 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Leading Design firm Ware Malcomb (www.waremalcomb.com) is proud to announce that design and construction have been completed for Phase I of the International Business Park at Panama Pacifico (www.panama-pacifico.com), a Class A office and industrial park, being developed by London & Regional Panama.  

London & Regional Panama celebrated the office buildings with a Grand Opening Ceremony on April 21, 2010.  Ware Malcomb joined the festivities along with London & Regional Panama.  The President of Panama Ricardo Martinelli Berrocal spoke at the ceremony.  During the event, attendees were given the opportunity to view the model of the planned mixed-use community, as well as images of the project stages.  

Phase I of the International Business Park included one, three-story, 5,000 square meters and one, four-story, 5,640 square meters office buildings.  The buildings were designed to international level standards that reflect a flexible, modern, and innovative design with a distinct color palette that characterizes the local Panamanian environment.  Dan Marcus, Development Director of London & Regional Panama shares, “Having Ware Malcomb’s expertise on our commercial projects in the International Business Park at Panama Pacifico has proved an invaluable asset.  We were able to successfully bring the new buildings to completion on time and within budget.”

Ware Malcomb’s Latin America Office based in Panama provided master planning, architectural, site development and core interior design services for the 26-hectare logistics, multi-modal, business and distribution park that will ultimately provide more than 100,000 square meters of office space and 22,000 square meters of industrial space. The master plan was designed to interlace the existing natural habitat within the campus setting.  The project includes a variety of green corridors, plazas, and a “river like” water feature that help maintain the tropical atmosphere.  

The International Business Park is strategically located with easy access to the Pan-American Highway, Panama Canal, Balboa Port, and a 15-minute drive to downtown Panama City.   Headquartered in Panama City, Site Work General Contractor MECCO and General Contractor Ripard Holding worked on the office building phase of the project.
