According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), any vent over 25 feet is can be a fire hazard; therefore, installation of a booster fan is recommended to help dryers function safely and efficiently.

When asked what he is doing to promote public awareness, Ryley answered, “We take the time to educate our customers about the importance of dryer vent cleaning and proper installation.  In addition, we ask them to help by warning their family and friends if they notice inferior dryer vent systems in their homes.  I get lots of referrals and I’m confident that New York is moving toward being free from dryer fire hazards.”
