Royal H.U.E. is a community service organization that is committed to improving the quality of life of neighborhoods, and enlists student involvement in urban renewal efforts. Royal H.U.E. also works with unemployed or underemployed individuals who are seeing vocational training that can be leveraged to secure employment with major carpet cleaning or water and fire restoration businesses. The program encourages not only support from students and churches, but from all members of society to help people who are losing their homes due to gentrification, unemployment and economic conditions. Displacing people from their communities is not the answer. “We want to utilize all resources within the community to improve the quality of life of people living there. This can be done by training young people and the unemployed and with the rehabilitation of homes in decaying areas,” said Phyllis Davis, Chairman of the Board for Royal Heritage Union for Excellence in Humanity. The efforts of Royal Heritage Union for Excellence in Humanity have sparked the interest of several noteworthy citizens. Leslie Carol, author of Royal Priesthood, agreed to donate 100 percent of all proceeds from the sale of her book to the organization. In order to ensure the enrollment of every participant, Royal Heritage Union for Excellence is seeking corporate sponsorship or individual donations.
