For a goal to propel you to completing it, it has to be: SPECIFIC ...Write down EXACTLY what you are going after. What it looks like, feels like, smells like, in as Much detail as possible. It is not good enough to say I want a new car. MEASURABLE ... Your new goal has to be measurable so you know when you achieve it. To say I want a lot of Money is not enough. You have to put down Exactly how much, so you KNOW when you have reached your goal! ATTAINABLE ... Can this goal be achieved? To pick a goal to grow wings and fly away is just silly and will never happen. It must be something achievable. RELEVANT ... Make sure you goal is relevant to what you are going after in your life. If one of your goals is to get out of debt, then buying a new car on credit (when the car you have is fine), is not a relevant goal. TIMELY ... Set a Deadline! I deadline puts things into motion.
