Christopher Guy Introduces Remodeled Showroom At The Summer Las Vegas Market

July 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Christopher Guy, purveyor of the “World’s Most Fabulous Decorative Furnishings,” will debut its newly remodeled showroom space at the Robert Allen | Beacon Hill showroom during the summer Las Vegas Market in early August. Occupying 3,000 square feet, the renovated space will display the finest of the Christopher Guy furnishings and decorative accents collection, in an effort to increase awareness among Las Vegas designers and to strengthen the relationship with the west coast interiors trade.

Christopher Guy furnishings will be featured in a prime location of the Robert Allen | Beacon Hill showroom, on the ground floor of Building C in The World Market Center. Three window displays will surround the space giving the visitors a view from the outside of the showroom.  To celebrate the association of Christopher Guy furnishings and Robert Allen | Beacon Hill fabrics, most of the furnishings displayed in the showroom are upholstered using Robert Allen’s signature materials.

The Christopher Guy flagship color, a strong and rich carnelian red, will be displayed throughout the entire remodeled space in an effort to create a visual trail for the guests to follow. The entrance lobby to the showroom will exhibit pieces from the Christopher Guy occasional furniture collection, such as the dramatic and whimsical high-back wing chair which features scroll details (product #60-0053). The lobby will lead to a larger showroom area, displaying various pieces from the lounge, dining, and bedroom collections. The patented “Chris-X” (kris-kros) leg design will be seen on products such as the nesting tables, hand carved from solid mahogany with triangular tabletops for the living room area (product #76-0005). The signature “Silk-Cut” design element is transferred to dining and desk tables, such as the mahogany desk with a “rolled paper” profile running along the front edge with a silk-cut slice carved through the top (product #83-0005). The walls of the showroom will display the extensive and world famous Christopher Guy mirror collection, including large and oversized mirrors measuring over 8 feet.
