Twice As Nice: Wizard World Announces New Spring Comic Con In New York City, May 6-7-8, 2011

July 16, 2010 - PRLog -- NEW YORK – Gareb Shamus, CEO of Wizard Entertainment, today announced the addition of a Spring event, Comic Con NYC, set for May 6-8 at the newly renovated Penn Plaza Pavilion in New York.

This fall, the site will host its first Big Apple Comic Con, October 1-3, with Adam West, Mickey Rooney, Julia Jones and Mark Millar among the highlighted attendees, with many more to be announced.

“Response to last year's Big Apple Comic Con and advance interest in the show this October has been so strong that we had to add the Spring event,” said Shamus.  “Everyone – the celebrities, the fans, the dealers, manufacturers, artists, and the entire community we deal with was begging us to bring a huge Spring event to New York. And now we have Wizard World Comic Con NYC.”
