July 29, 2010 - PRLog -- NEW YORK – From awkward first kisses to untimely voice changes and warnings not to play ball in the house, they have been coming into living rooms for more than 40 years as the famed Brady brothers in the cult favorite television series “The Brady Bunch” and its various sequel programs and movies.  Now, Barry Williams, Christopher Knight and Mike Lookinland will be together again for the first time ever on the East Coast at Wizard World Big Apple Comic Con, October 1-3 at Penn Plaza Pavilion in New York.

The three will meet fans, take photographs, sign autographs and participate in a once-in-a-generation panel discussing the franchise that millions have enjoyed for decades, as well as the way the series helped shape their own lives.

“When it comes to pop culture, 'The Brady Bunch' hits the mark for fans of all ages,” said Gareb Shamus, Wizard Entertainment CEO.  “A third generation is now growing up on the program, and having all three 'brothers' together in one place is a rare opportunity that whole families  will want to enjoy.”

Williams, who played the eldest brother, “Greg” on the series, which aired from 1969 through 1974, is also an accomplished singer, recording albums and performing in musical theatre.  In addition to starring in numerous “Brady Bunch” reunions since the end of the original series run, Williams had a recurring role in  the series “Hollywood 7” and has made guest appearances in more than 30 television shows.

“I can't wait to reunite with my Brady Brotheres in New York,” said Williams.  “I can't remember when all of us have done a signing together.  Big Apple Comic Con rules!  From the biggest Brady Brother, see you there!”

Knight, one of the most popular guests on the Wizard World Comic Con tour, played the middle brother “Peter” on “Brady Bunch.”  He has gained a new following among younger fans through his co-starring role, along with his wife, “America's Next Top Model” winner Adrianne Curry, in “My Fair Brady.”  He was also host of the game show “Trivial Pursuit: America Plays” and has run several successful businesses.

“I'm overjoyed that my Brady brothers have elected to join me at this year's Big Apple Comic Con,” added Knight. “Since the show went off the air, the three of us have only appeared together for autograph signings twice before!  Mike and Barry are my oldest friends on earth. It'll be a thrill sharing their company and Brady spirit!”

Lookinland, who portrayed “Bobby,” the youngest of the trio, had several roles in the years immediately after “The Brady Bunch,” most notably alongside Jennifer Jones and Paul Newman in the 1974 disaster film The Towering Inferno.  He later moved behind the lens, working the cameras for numerous films and television series.

In addition to the “Bradys,” Adam West, Mickey Rooney and Julia Jones are among the stars scheduled to attend Big Apple Comic Con, along with top comic artists, writers and producers.
