How Much Money Is Left In The Economic Stimulus Programs For Small Businesses?

July 30, 2010 - PRLog -- The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board announced today that a record number of reports, nearly 197,000, were submitted by recipients of Recovery Act funds for the quarter ending June 30.

According to the reports, the number of jobs funded during
the quarter totaled 755,454, also a record.  

The reports provide detailed data on how recipients used funds from contracts, grants and loans they received under the Recovery Act. The quarter represents the fourth period in which recipients submitted reports to the Recovery Board.

The submissions include nearly 29,000 new reports from prime and sub-recipients along with about 168,000 reports updated from earlier filing periods.

This demonstrates that many businesses have pursued help to stabilize their businesses during this economic quagmire but there are many more businesses that need to jump in now according to the U.S. Business Economic Stimulus Initiative which helps businesses get their share of the new economic stimulus resources while they are still available.
