The 25 year old jazz pianist and singer (often compared to the late Dinah Washington) will be returning to Oklahoma City, OK for a stint of performances at Maker's Cigar Lounge in Bricktown (Downtown Oklahoma City), August 6 and 7 (Friday and Saturday), and August 10 through 14, 2010. Maker's, (known as Oklahoma City's place for Jazz) is the venue Champian considers her breeding ground for the performance world of jazz, where she began at age 15. She will be accompanied by her bassist Yuta Tanaka from New York City and Stephen Fulton (her father) on drums and flugelhorn. Ms. Fulton, has recently signed a worldwide distribution deal with Spectra Jazz, a division of Spectra Records for her latest CD ("The Breeze and I"), and will have copies available for signing.
