Though his book is fictionally supported, the fundamental premise of the story surrounding the construction, design, and sinking of the ship is based on historical facts and accounts. In his new book titled, “Titanic: Echo of the Dying Confession,”
Mr. Veenstra explores the darker side of man and our need for vengeance and revenge when our lives do not go as we believed they were predestined. Thus, the story revolves around one person being the sole designer of the ships fate by purposely building, designing, and sinking the ship in order to ruin White Star Lines and its new American owner. In exploring the darker side of man to our deepest core, Mr. Veenstra uses the assistance of Aroich, the demon of Vengeance to fill in the gaps of information that cannot be proven by historical references. Thus, he creates a new concept about the events that befell the steamship, “Titanic.”
