Scott Fischer,Owner of Local Harley-Davidson Dealerships to Chair 2010 Bikers for Babies

Aug. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- Scott Fischer, CEO of Scott Fischer Enterprises and owner of Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers and Naples Harley-Davidson has always supported the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies. With 2010 marking the 10th Annual Bikers for Babies, Fischer has taken on the additional role of being the Chair.

“I’m excited about taking on this challenge and I am committing not only myself but all of my associates to make sure that 2010 will be the best year ever for the Bikers for Babies” Fischer said. “This is a premier bike event for Southwest Florida and we want to bring even more fun and excitement, not only during the Bikers for Babies weekend, but also host additional activities leading up to the big weekend. These events will bring additional awareness and monies to the March of Dimes in their fight to give every baby a healthy start in life.”  

The series of events will start on Friday, November 5th with a bike night at Naples Harley-Davidson with live entertainment, vendors, food & refreshments. On Saturday, November 6th the bike night will move to Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers. The grand finale will be on Sunday, November 7th, with a 35-mile, law-enforcement escorted ride starting at the North Collier Regional Water Park on Livingston Road in Naples going up Livingston Road to Bonita Beach Road, along Bonita Beach, Fort Myers Beach, ultimately ending at Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers. Once at the dealership, there will be a finale celebration with more live entertainment, food, refreshments, vendors and awards for the individuals and riding groups that have raised the most money.

Other events leading up to the Bikers for Babies weekend include the Fat Boy Open Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 12th at the Fort Myers Country Club, Bikers on the Beach on Saturday, September 25th at Fort Myers Beach, Big Kahuna Bed Race, Saturday, October 2nd at the Cape Coral Bike Night and Harley- Davidson Bike Night, Saturday, October 8th at Harley-Davidson of Fort Myers.
