His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum Meets Finance Minister of Djibouti

This important but casual meeting was held in Burj ul Arab, considered to be the pride of Dubai. The hotel management on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum welcomed His Excellency, the minster and Mr. M. Osman Mousa Darar, the Consulate General of Djibouti in Dubai. The honorable guests were given the special tour of the Burj ul Arab including the tour to the Presidential Suite where they appreciated the incredible infrastructure of this most luxury and only seven star hotel of the world.

During the meeting HE Mr. Ali Farah Assoweh emphasized on the transparent investment and trade policies of Djibouti and explained the impact of the taking over the Djibouti port by DP World of Dubai. His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum has expressed his strong intent to open an office of Royal Emirates Group in the free trade zone of Djibouti and assured the minister for making investments in the feasible Infrastructure projects on BOT basis. His Highness has also agreed to play a vital role to bring the major regional partners of Royal Emirates Group to Djibouti to explore the investment opportunites in the republic of Djibouti. His Highness also sent the well wishes for the leadership and the people of Djibouti before the start of the holy month of ramadan. HE - the minister has promised full cooperation and agreed to provide special facilitations to Royal Emirates Group during their expansion to Djibouti.

The Consulate General and His Excellency the minister also held detailed discussions with Dr. kaiser Rafiq, the managing director of Royal Emirates Group and Mr. Sulaiman Boti, Project manager of Royal Emirates Group. Both sides agreed to coperate in various sectors specialy providing the facilitation in commodity trading and refined petroleum products.
