Red China helped turn the 2010 World Cup Football Games Green.

Aug. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- For those whose passion is Football [also known as Soccer to the less enlightened] the World Cup is the highlight. But amidst the big names, the  shock defeats, the surprise wins and high tech computer graphics and wizardry that brought it to our screens, one thing may well have been lost on most of the viewers and audience.

The advertising displays inside the stadium were provided by a Chinese lighting company.
Now that in itself is not surprising,  Chinese manufactures have been successful in exporting to high level events for many years now, but in this instance, the displays were LED displays from Shenzhen AOTO Electronics Co. Ltd.

As WPBeijing China Marketing has mentioned on previous occasions, overseas customers or potential investors come to China with high hopes and expectation, but often go away disappointed and there is still a lingering perspective that believes China products are economical but somehow lacking in quality or originality.
Foreign media is quick to highlight problems in China's manufacturing industry but slow to acknowledge developments and advances.

As Ms Hannah Hong from Aoto's customer service department says;
“Aoto makes a very good product, we have actually been around since 1993 and have spent a considerable amount of time and money in R&D and provide to some of China's top 500 companies, including Bank of China  and China Mobile.
During our R&D we have developed a lot of our own technology and now hold several intellectual property rights relating to LED yet we felt that many oversees companies do not really treat us seriously or understand the depth of  our commitment to our product and customers.
So providing the LED Advertising Displays for the World Cup was a way to show not just our product and brand but that we do actually make a World Class product that can stand up to the demand of an international event.”

This negativity, focus on price and double standard from international media is something that WPBeijing China Marketing is only too familiar with and applauds the far sighted approach shown by Aoto Electronics.
