GRACIE STANDING WITH HOPE by Gracie Rosenberger as told to Peter Rosenberger

More than 70+ operations, 3 dozen doctors, 2 amputations and $9,000,000 in medical costs! An amazing account of sorrow, laughter, and electrifying inspiration, author Gracie Rosenberger will release her new book Sept. 15, 2010 on NBC’s TODAY show.

Aug. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Published by Liberty University Press, this powerful book chronicles a young woman awakening from a horrific car accident to a life filled with searing pain, enormous loss, and brutal challenges …but all dwarfed by her indomitable spirit and a heart willing to trust God with a broken life.  Another unique quality about this book is, for the first time ever, a woman is telling her story through her husband’s writing; Gracie’s husband, Peter, partnered with her to pen this story, and their continued romance proves that love truly does conquer even the harshest of circumstances.

From spending time with wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to providing artificial limbs to amputees in West Africa -- to performing on some of the world’s largest stages, this book takes readers on an incredible journey spanning decades of loss, hilarious moments, tears, and unimaginable pain …all leading to breathtaking views of God’s redemption that will strengthen the faith of those reeling from harsh circumstances.

Weaving insights, brokenness, and humor, this book is written to help touch the heartache of those who suffer; pointing each reader to Christ -- the sole reason Gracie continues standing with hope.

Emerging from a catastrophic car accident resulting in six dozen operations, including the amputation of both legs, Gracie Rosenberger now steps onto the stages of the world to share the same hope that continues to sustain her.
Performing since childhood, Gracie’s formal study as a vocal performance major helped develop her powerful voice that’s captivated audiences across the country. But Gracie counts as her most moving invitation the request by the commanding general of Walter Reed Army Medical Center to perform at the groundbreaking ceremony for the training center for military personnel experiencing limb-loss.
Recognizing the need for quality prosthetic limbs in developing countries, Gracie and her husband, Peter, founded the evangelical outreach, Standing With Hope, which equips and trains local workers to build high quality prosthetic limbs for their own people.
Gracie and Peter, along with their sons, Parker and Grayson live in Nashville, TN
