Dr. Amy Bandy - Southern California Plastic Surgeon

The vast majority of Dr. Bandy’s General Surgery took place here, in southern California.  The Harbor UCLA Medical Center is internationally known and is located in Torrance, which is only miles outside downtown Los Angeles.  While practicing at Harbor UCLA; Dr. Bandy was trained in general surgery with emphasis in reconstructive surgery.  She worked on all types of face and head surgery including reconstruction of the jaw, nose, mouth, and the rest of the facial area.  Beside maxillofacial reconstruction; Dr. Bandy worked on breast reconstruction.

Once her stint at Harbor Medical Center was complete; Dr. Amy Bandy moved to Michigan to pursue a Residency at Wayne State University.  It was during this time that Dr. Bandy really began to receive in-depth training on plastic surgery procedures.  Beside the Cosmetic and Plastic training, there was also a heavy emphasis on Pediatric Surgery.  Dr. Bandy performed numerous operations to repair congenital defects like cleft lips.

After her residency at Wayne State University was finished; Dr. Bandy then went to train at MEETH; the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York.  Here she got the absolute best and most advanced training from the top cosmetic and plastic surgeons in the nation.  Dr. Amy Bandy learned and practiced cutting-edge procedures on the following operations; eyelid surgery, brow lifts, face lifts, and nose surgery.  Dr. Bandy also participated in refining certain techniques in liposuction.
