Buzzom and Buzzom Premium Source code goes for sale

Sept. 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Bangalore, India – September 6th, 2010 — InRev Systems, the developer of Buzzom and Buzzom Premium announced the sale of Buzzom and Buzzom Premium Source code. The source code is available in three different licensing versions: Single site License, Enterprise License and OEM License. The pricing for these licenses are $5K and $10K accordingly. The OEM License is open for negotiation.

InRev Systems CEO, Bhupendra Khanal feels that there is a lot of potential for social media application like buzzom. Every business and enterprise needs a system to manage their social media profile. He adds, “Buzzom in itself cannot scale on its own, it needs continuous feedback from the community. Moreover, the need of each business can be different and entirely conflicting. Hence by selling the code, we want to revolutionize the way social media eco-system is implemented in Medium Enterprise. This allows every small or medium enterprise to implement Buzzom’s powerful system on their server and benefit from it”

When the team was asked why they are selling the code. Deep Sherchan, CMO InRev Systems informs, “InRev Systems is a small company with big goals. We have considerable success with Buzzom and Buzzom Premium. But our focus has shifted to Social CRM Space. This is a surprise coming on Sep 27th. So stay tuned!”
The company has already announced Buzzom Desktop as Open Source. The main goal seems to encourage social media app builder to experiment with the existing system and scale them out.
