In Court Tomorrow: Birth Father Fights to Gain Custody of Son from Ex-Con

Sept. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- CHICAGO – Sept 8, 2010 – A Chicago father, Earlzell Orr is battling for custody of his 11-year old son who is currently in the possession of a non-related couple - one of whom is a convicted felon according to court records.  Attorneys for the father, Jeffery M. Leving and Lisa McLeod have filed an Emergency Petition for Custody and will appear in court on Wednesday, September 8 at 9:00am at the courthouse at 32 West Randolph St. in a courtroom to be determined. The birth mother of the child is recently deceased.  

There has been no guardianship or custody petition filed granting the non-related couple temporary or permanent possession.

It is believed that the non-related couple has access to the child’s deceased mother’s bank accounts which gives them access to the child support payments for the child.
