NAIFA-Raleigh Announces Local Hero, James Worthy, Will Kick-off 2010-2011

NAIFA–Raleigh (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) is excited to announce local hero, James Worthy, as the first guest speaker for 2010-2011.
 
Sept. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- NAIFA-Raleigh will be opening its doors to the public for this motivational and powerful address. His message, “Building a Championship Organization”, will describe his experiences as an NBA Champion as well as his stand-out career at UNC-Chapel Hill and will focus on leadership, resilience and commitment.

“We are very grateful to have James be the keynote speaker at our kickoff meeting for NAIFA-Raleigh,” said Will Smith, President of the association. “We feel that this is a fantastic opportunity for our members as well as the local community. We hope everyone feels most welcome to attend this event and hear from a successful champion and fine individual like James Worthy.”

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 11:00 - 1:30 at the RBC Center. Tickets start at $25 in advance or will be $35 at the door (tickets are FREE for any new or current members of NAIFA), and will include lunch. James Ager Worthy (born February 27, 1961 in Gastonia, NC) is a former UNC-Chapel Hill and LA Lakers basketball player, who was enshrined in 2003 into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Worthy also dedicates a substantial amount of his time and resources to support non-profit community organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers of America, YMCA, and others.
