Follow on Google News | Why Do Republicans Fear Obama's Success? Two political Bloggers attempt to answer the question of why the Tea party exists...is it smoke and mirrors?
By: Mic Theory “So why is the right scared? Detractors say it is impossible for them to debate the actual facts as they will lose. So they have no choice but to resort to “falsehoods, fear, misinformation and flat out lies” it’s understandable and has been a mainstay of republican rhetoric for years. In fact todays republicans are nothing like those in lincolns time who were considered the liberals and idealists of their time. So that brings us to Tea partyist young hard core right wingers afraid of losing country club admissions and trust funds who as you say “focus on spending conveniently forgetting it was Republicans who brought about the national deficit.” Republicans policies almost brought us into a new depression while offering golden parachute clauses to the men who were letting our country go down the drain. Obama had no choice but to pull up his sleeves grab the proverbial mop and clean up the mess they left behind. Its been almost a decade since 9/11 and I agree with Joe that Obama’s leadership has captured more terrorists in 2 years in Afghanistan than Bush did in 8. Mic Theory “Bush isolated the United States from most of the world”, and distanced our allies who can forget when he wanted to make the United Arab Emirates the central security force of our American Ports? “Obama, manages to get a Start Treaty signed 9 years after the last expired, convinced China and Russia to be more cooperative on North Korea and Iran. “Bush had to be snuck into meetings in foreign countries at night, Obama arrives to cheering crowds.” This is true… So what do the hard core right extremists have to be afraid of? Mic Theory “The right cannot use facts about taxes, health care reform, abortion or even gun control to attack Obama because he has lowered taxes, the vast majority of Americans like what is actually in the Health Care Reform Bill, he has implemented no pro abortion policies or laws, nor has he changed or supported a single change in gun laws. So what do they do instead? They try to claim he is Nazi like, UN-American, not born here and question his religion. They spread fear over things they say, he MIGHT do, regardless of the fact he has never done or even expressed desire to do anything of the sort. They send out viral emails with so called "experts" who claim everything that Obama is everything from Hitler to the Anti-Christ. They claim they want to restore the constitution while they advocate violence and try to de-legitmize an election.” Joe Ritchie “ More and more the right is beginning to look like cold war communists! Which many say is detrimental to the full recovery of our nation. “People want basic stuff fixed…They don’t have a romantic notion of bi partisanship. They just want to come together to solve problems.” Said State Rep. Vernon Sykes a Democrat and chair of the Ohio Finance and Appropriations Committee. According to a recent broadcast on CNN 28 states have lowered their unemployment significantly in the last 12 months and a recent poll by Daily Kos put out some disturbing data about Republican paranoia surrounding President Obama. They refrained from saying the paranoia was racially motivated but it is rather suspicious”. Mic Theory A)Over 39 percent of Republicans believe Obama should be impeached, 29 percent are not sure, 32 percent said he should not be voted out of office. B) 36 percent of Republicans believe Obama was not born in the United States, 22 percent are not sure, 42 percent think he is a natural citizen. C) 31 percent of Republicans believe Obama is a "racist who hates white people" -- the description once adopted by Fox News's Glenn Beck. 33 percent were not sure, and 36 percent said he was not a racist. D) 63 percent of Republicans think Obama is a socialist, 16 percent are not sure, 21 percent say he is not. E) 24 percent of Republicans believe Obama wants "the terrorists to win," 33 percent aren't sure, 43 percent said he did not want the terrorist to win.21 percent of Republicans believe ACORN stole the 2008 election, 55 percent are not sure, 24 percent said the community organizing group did not steal the election. F) 23 percent of Republicans believe that their state should secede from the United States, 19 percent aren't sure, 58 percent said no. G) 53 percent of Republicans said they believe Sarah Palin is more qualified to be president than Obama…Sarah Palin? Well 2012 is fast approaching and these Tea partyist may yet have the chance to vote for their “American” # # # “More than Dance!” Hot Stepz Magazine is a unique publication geared toward positive lifestyle, and entertainment.
