Dadnab to Help 2010 ACL Festival Attendees Avoid Transportation Hassles

ACL is a three-day festival that brings dozens of bands and thousands of music fans to Zilker Park in Austin, Texas each year.  This year, the event will take place October 8 - 10.

To get transit directions, a Dadnab (http://www.dadnab.com) user sends a text message (SMS) with a starting and ending location. (Users may also specify a departure or arrival time.)  Dadnab replies with step-by-step trip instructions that include which buses or trains to take and when and where to board them. Dadnab offers the service at no charge and does not require users to register.

"More and more people who had never before taken a bus or train are realizing that technology and transit make a convenient combination,” says Cauvin.
