Join An On-Line Twitter Party, Friday November 5, to Raise Awareness of Animals in Need of Adoption

Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Come join Da Shibbering Cheetos and participate in the first ever Adoption Option tweet out -  join the party without leaving the comfort of your own home! You can participate in an on-line Twitter party designed to raise awareness of animals in need. The event will take place virtually via Twitter on Friday, November 5, 2010, from 5-7PM PDT. The goal of this virtual event is to highlight the very real story of the number of animals who are looking for forever homes - don't shop, adopt!

Using Petfinder, one of the largest animal adoption sites on the Internet, animals in need of adoption will benefit from this unprecedented virtual tweet-up event on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 5 pm to 7 pm, PDT.  By following the twitter hashtag #Lub2Rock, participants will share knowledge of animals in need of an 'Adoption Option.'  The goal of this event is to raise awareness of the numerous animals that are up for adoption and to hopefully match them with individuals looking to share their hearts and homes with a furry companion.

Da Shibbering Cheetos, the first Twitter-based rock band, will host a live Twitter concert while AJ's (adoption jockeys) tweet pictures and stories of animals that are up for adoption. #Lub2Rock attendees are asked to retweet (RT) the AJ's tweets, helping to spread the word about animals needing forever homes. Together, through our tweets, we can make a difference in animals lives. #Lub2Rock Adoption Option will be an interactive event - come join in the fun and help make animal adoption information go viral!

The Twitter event “#Lub2Rock Adoption Option” is run by animal-lover volunteers, whose goal is to raise awareness of no-kill animal organizations. Join in the fun and you'll have a chance at winning some wonderful prizes donated from The MattieDog Foundation.
