Sept. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- The travel industry today is flooded with offers, deals, and "bargains" but it is not too often that a truly unique service and value can be found. An argument can be made that Singles by the Bay Travel club is a perfect example of one of those services.

The club is run by an organizer and some helpers who plan the trips at wholesale and group rates, and add value by getting singles and solo travelers together for mixers and events while abroad.

Though based in the San Francisco Bay Area, this club has members from all over the US and Canada. The motto is "all are welcome" and it appears to be a great way to save money and pair up with a roommate if you are on your own.

In May (2011) the club will be heading off to Australia. The club founder, Steve Juba, lived in Sydney for 8 months and is bringing the group back for a private tour of the country. Sounds like a unique travel experience that cannot be found on Orbit, Travelocity, or booked through a travel agent.
