Oct. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Bill Bartmann Enterprises has made their way into the prestigious INC 500 list of Americas fastest-growing private companies. Bill Bartmann Enterprises mostly publishes motivational products like books and cd's, as well as holding seminars and actively working with entrepreneurs.

To rank in at the 234th business, Bill Bartmann Enterprises had a 2009 revenue of $5.7 million and a 3 year growth of 1,309%.

Bill Bartmann, Company CEO, said,

"We are honored and humbled to be included in this exclusive group of cutting edge companies. It is even more humbling to realize that this is the 5th time one of our companies has achieved this designation."

Bill Bartmann is best remembered for losing some $3.5 billion in paper wealth and his status as the 25th richest person in the U.S. That was 12 years ago, when his debt-collection company, Commercial Financial Services, collapsed in scandal. But Bartmann has been climbing back, using Bill Bartmann Enterprises first to tell his story through books and on the speaking circuit, then to teach other people how to make money collecting debt the way he did with CFS.

The CFS story can be summed up quite easily. Bill Bartmann's former business partner committed fraud under the CFS name which led to a 5 year investigation and a 2 month long trial. During which the government called 53 witnesses and produced over 1,000 exhibits. Bill rested his case without calling a single witness or producing a single exhibit. The jury unanimously acquitted Bill on all counts. Ironically, 17 months after his acquittal and 6.5 years after his company was liquidated, the Federal Bankruptcy Trustee issed his report which publicly acknowledged for the first time, "CFS was not a fraud".

Since this happened Bill Bartmann has been on a blazing comeback. All of these events make Bill Bartmanns story unique. He wasn't born into wealth by any means and came from a family of eight children. His father was a janitor and his mother was a house cleaner for a living.

At the young age of 14 Bill dropped out of high-school to join a traveling carnival. That did not last long as he left to join a street gang called the Manor Boys. Bill was homeless, during this time in his life he slept under bridge viaducts and other public places. At one point he spent a summer living in a hayloft until the farmer discovered him and burnt his few possessions.

Continuing on the destructive path at age 17 Bill Bartmann was an alcoholic and almost became a paraplegic after falling down a flight of stairs in a drunk stupor. He would not accept the doctors verdict which said he would never walk again and in fact walked out of the hospital on his own two feet.

Later, he got a job in a pig slaughter house. Here Bill demonstrated his leadership and negotiation skills by organizing a wildcat strike to demand benefits for the part-time workers.

During the time of the strike Bartmann met the school teacher who had booted him out, this time the teacher convinced Bill to give education another chance. He took his teachers advice going back to school, getting his GED and going on to college to get his Bachelor's degree as well as his law degree. After his teachings is when his roller coaster business career started.

"My long and interesting business career has given me a unique perspective: I'm aware of no other slaughterhouse worker or street-gang member ever to have become a billionaire. I'm also something of an authority on surviving bankruptcy and other forms of failure.

"I therefore channeled that knowledge and my energies into helping other entrepreneurs to overcome whatever barriers they're up against. I created Bill Bartmann Enterprises, through which I've offered courses, materials, and live events on entrepreneurship and achieving goals."
