OSSCube Releases an Open Source Asterisk and SugarCRM Integration Bridge - OSSCube Voice

Oct. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- OSSCube releases OSSCube Voice - an open source integration of Asterix and SugarCRM. With OSSCube Voice you can recieve and make calls from within your SugarCRM deployment.

Asterisk is a software implementation of a telephone private branch exchange which allows attached telephones to make calls to one another, and to connect to other telephone services including PSTN and VoIP services. SugarCRM is the leading open source CRM software.

With OSSCube Voice, actual calls can now become an integral part of SugarCRM as opposed to the call logging features that SugarCRM provides out of the box. All outgoing calls are logged and recorded by OSSCube Voice inside the system and are easily accesible. New call events can also be easily managed with the tool.

OSSCube Voice also handles all inbound calls through Asterisk. Multiple inbound calls can be managed simultaneously and inbound calls can be routed to recipients inside SugarCRM through the Asterisk system, so that when an inbound call is made to your sales and support channels, the recipient agent will have the complete log and history available to them with the call right away.
