PEEP Into Our Doll House - Artist to Play With “Dolls” for Arts Education Program

Oct. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The In Your Eye Gallery in the Historic Paseo Arts District is hosting an “art doll” show for the month of November. The “doll” creations will be by local artists who have influenced and inspired mixed media artist, Annalisa Campbell, on and off the canvas.  It will feature the doll creations of over 50 fellow artists and raise money for the after school arts’ program, PEEPS (Paseo Edgemere Educational Partnership Spectacular). The show will be called PEEP Into Our Doll House. Opening reception is Friday, November 5th from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Show runs thru November 30th.

This show will raise money for PEEPS, an after-school arts program developed in 2008 by the LOYAL Leadership team in partnership with the Paseo Arts District to help give students an outlet for artistic expression and learning.

PEEP Into Our Doll House is a celebration of all the “Art Dolls” that create, volunteer, and donate their time to help raise awareness for the arts community. “My art community is filled with a variety of dolls who add flavor and conviction to the future of Oklahoma arts.” - Annalisa Campbell

In Your Eye Gallery – Guest Artist
In Your Eye Gallery is committed to introducing new artists to the Historic Paseo Arts District. Jean M. Longo will be our first guest artist for the month of November. Jean, an established artist is Philadelphia, is new to the Oklahoma arts community. We are pleased to introduce her works. In Your Eye Studio and Gallery is located in the center of the historic Paseo Arts District near NW 30th and Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City. The gallery is owned by a consortium of 9 Oklahoma artists featured during monthly Paseo Art Walks. Media displayed include paintings, photography, mixed media, jewelry, pottery and glasswork.
