African group set to launch writing Contest

Oct. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The African Millenium Poets' society owners of www.linesfromafrica.com is gearing for the launch of the Maiden edition of Nigeria's festival of poetry competition. The competition which will be open to Nigerian's Home and Abroad is been staged as a way of commemorating the Nations 50th Anniversary.

The Competition which will be opened to Nigerian poets is divided into two main Categories.
The Amateur Contest- Which attracts budding poets within the ages of 16-24.
Veteran's Contest- With the age range of 25-45 years.

The event which promises to attract the competitors within and outside the coutry will undoubtedly attract sponsorship from corporate Nigeria.
