DotConnectAfrica received endorsement from CORPORATE COUNCIL ON AFRICA (CCA)

Jan. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Washington DC,USA:  DotConnectAfrica  has received an esteemed endorsement from CORPORATE COUNCIL ON AFRICA (CCA) towards its application for  the delegation of the top level domain name .africa from ICANN.

This would mean that DCA will have access to nearly all the international and Africa based premium brand names that would register  the .africa top level domain name.  Additionally, an opportunity is created  for doing business and developing the .africa brand in Africa and globally.  "It is a win-win situation for both sides" , said Bekele accepting the endorsement.  "Branding is key for market access and staying power, so will these heavy hitters benefit from building their brands  using the '.africa' name"

Established in 1993, the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA)  is at the forefront of strengthening and facilitating the commercial relationship between the United States and the African continent. CCA works closely with governments, multilateral groups and business to improve the African continent's trade and investment climate, and to raise the profile of Africa in the US business community.    In a move to encourage small and medium sized enterprises to be involved in the value chain and increase two-way trade between U.S and Sub-Saharan Africa, CCA also recently launched the US Africa Business Center (USABC).

CCA members believe that Africa's future success depends upon the ability of its entrepreneurs and business people to create and retain wealth through private enterprise. American corporations and private individuals can contribute most effectively by building partnership and reaching out to the African private sector in the areas that America knows best: private enterprise, investment capital, technology transfer and management.  

CCA programs are designed to bring together potential business partners and raise Africa's investment profile in the US by developing critical contacts and business relationships and providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas.
