By: WavePlay LLC The Silicon Valley Roundtable will occur on November 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Pagemill Partners, 2475 Hanover St., in Palo Alto. The topic: “Building a Team,” (how to build a core team for your company, use advisors and investors, how to compensate, etc.), presented by Lowell Ness and Joseph Perkins of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Interested founders can sign up for the free Roundtable at http://svroundtable.eventbrite.com Silicon Valley follows on the heels of Founders Space Roundtables launched in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. “A Founders Space Roundtable is not a panel of speakers, seminar or business mixer," said Hoffman. "It’s a working session focused on dealing with tough issues startups face. Each Roundtable tackles a specific subject, such as negotiating a term sheet, creating a marketing plan, filing patents, or raising venture capital.” Hoffman elaborated that sessions begin with an industry expert, who provides an overview of the subject, as well as detailed business advice. “The founders then break up into smaller groups to help one another address the issue as it relates to their own companies.” Hoffman said that new Founders Space Roundtable chapters are evolving monthly. “Boston and New York are on the list, along with Washington D.C. and other major cities.” # # # About Founders Space: Founders Space (www.foundersspace.com) End
