Michael Jackson: with Cirque du Soleil, This is NOT it !

After their Latest touring show Totem that concerned the evolution of mankind, the circus is preparing a Jackson-themed touring production," Michael Jackson Immmortal World Tour'' with an arena version scheduled to begin touring the world in October 2011 and a Las Vegas residency show scheduled to begin in 2012 on 2013. Tours have been personally endorsed by Jackson's Familly members.
Jamie king, who was a back-up dancer on Michael's Dangerous world Tour in 1992-1993, will write and direct the production. He will use most famous and eye popping acrobatics but will center on Michael Jackson, " From the Moonwalk to the iconic choreography we've seen in Thriller and Beat it and Bad --all his mini movies and music video--mix that with the world of cirque," King said in an interview with the Times. He will be working with over 60 performers and to create a show which will be a combinaison of Michael's Universe with Cirque du Soleil production. The Dancer who previously directed Rihanna, Madonna and Britney Spears Tour, told to Hollywood Reporters that he was delighted to be asked to direct a such spectacular " i jumped at the opportunity. i'm a huge fan. in my work directing big rock and pop tours, i have been so influenced by the Cirque shows and the magic they create.''
The idea of the show is to ''bring Michael to the Fan " said John branch, co-executor of the Jackson estate. Despite its diversity, Cirque had never produced an historic icon that gone into Arena, they admitted their excitement for an experienced which has never been tried before.
