Melanie Fontana releases "California Gurls" Remix/Parody Song - "New England Gurls"

Nov. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Pop/R&B singer songwriter, Melanie Fontana has written, recorded and released a remix/ parody song and slide show video to contrast Katy Perry's "California Gurls". The song is called "New England Gurls" copywrite 2010 by Melanie Fontana. This song debuted  on WTIC - FM 96.5's Craig and Company morning show in Hartford, CT  (http://965tic.radio.com/shows/craig-company/ ) on Tuesday, November 8th.  The song has also been aired by The Time Machine with Michael McCartney (http://thetimemachineradioshow.blogspot.com/) in Hawaii.

Melanie is an award winning singer/songwriter who was a winning performer at Amateur Night at the Apollo at age 16 and recently  performed at B.B. Kings in New York City with Broadway Underground.
She has also performed at singer/songwriter events events coast to coast, including CBGB's and The Bitter End in New York City as well as The Parlor in Hollywood,CA and has performed the National Anthem for the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, in Baltimore, MD.
Melanie is currently employed by Carnival Cruise Lines as a showband vocalist.
