François Droulers buys the Palace Hotel of Bari

Nov. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Bari, November 11th, 2010 – François Droulers, Milan’s businessman, who’s been successful in the hotel industry both nationally and internationally for over ten years, has made an important acquisition, the Palace Hotel in Bari a symbol of quality, luxury and tradition in the hotel and travel business of the Apulia region.

François Droulers was born in Milan in 1971. He has an undergraduate degree from the European Business School and a Masters in Business Administration obtained in London. At a very young age, Mr Drouler begins his hotel management career in the English Thistle Hotels group, four star hotel chain with 100 structures. He is promoted to Assistant Manager for a Thistle Hotel in Kensington at the tender age of 26.

In 1998, Mr. Drouler returns to Italy with the responsibility of remodeling “Villa La Massa” a 5 star luxury hotel located in the outskirts of Florence.  In 2005, he is hired by the Domina Hotel Group, and negotiates over 200 hotel acquisition operations involving Italy, Europe, Russia, Middle East and India for them. During this time, he buys 35 hotel structures and sells 15. In July 2009, he leaves Domina Group” to focus his attention on creating his own Italian hotel group. Mr. Drouler begins a new career path and challenge with the purchase of the Palace Hotel in Bari.

As Mr. Droulers declares, “The Palace Hotel of Bari represents simply the first stepping stone in a larger entrepreneurial design and business plan that foresees our company’s involvement in the acquisition of a series of hotels in Italy based on the concept of accessible luxury and quality service. This new hotel will focus on convention services. I have already started significant remodeling work that includes the remodeling of a series of rooms, the creation of new suites equipped with every comfort and all the latest technologies and an important program of staff training to improve the service even more”.

The Palace Hotel Bari is the largest hotel in the regional capital. It features 196 rooms and 18 suites.
