Latex Grenade Headlines FREE Show at Sound Wave December 17th, With The Sun Doctors and Bankers Hill

Rockers out of San Diego, Latex Grenade, are starting the winter off on the right foot by Headlining at Sound Wave in Mission Beach on December 17th. Accompanying them are two San Diego natives, The Sun Doctors, and Bankers Hill, Both of which are on the rise and have a fresh, unique sound. Following the show, there will be an after Party at Sand Bar Sports Grill Presented by Hotel California Tequila.

Located on the Wavehouse premises, adjacent to the Belmont Park Rollercoaster, Soundwave is the formerly famous, Canes Bar and Grill, who went out of business in the fall of 2009. Sound Wave officially opened on March 27th, 2010 with a new look and a revamped sound system, making it one of San Diego’s best venues for live entertainment.

Latex Grenade’s last San Diego show was back in September, selling out the 710 Beach Club in Pacific Beach.  Since then, they have been out promoting their new album on iTunes, and have polished a few more songs to add to their collection. “We’re pretty amped to play with two solid bands at a world class venue,” Geoff said, “It’s going to be an awesome night for the fans and our families. There’s nothing like offering a free show for all of the people that support us, especially at such an awesome place like Sound Wave. The Hotel California Tequila after party at Sand Bar couldn’t be a better way to top off the evening.”

The night kicks off at 8:00 PM sharp with cool stuff and free giveaways to reward early arriving fans to support the awesome opening act, Bankers Hill (http://www.myspace.com/artofficialmusic).
“We’re stoked to be playing at Sound Wave for our last San Diego show in 2010,” exclaimed guitarist and singer from Bankers Hill, Troy Cook. Bankers Hill will be kicking off a West Coast tour in January 2011.

The Sun Doctors (http://myspace.com/thesundoctors), who will be playing second, are a fresh unique sounding local band who blend Hard Rock with a rhythmic dance feel that will certainly get the crowd moving. “We can’t wait to rock San Diego, “ Bassist, Paul Sofsky enthusiastically stated, “ [We’re] feelin’ positive vibes for a great show and an awesome after party at Sand Bar with Hotel California Tequila!” Their brand new album, fresh off the press, might make it into the hands of some lucky fans, if you happen to be in the right place at the right time.

The Sand Bar sports Grill, located across the street from the Wavehouse parking lot, on Ventura, is a popular two-story bar that offers cheap drinks and a fun nightlife.
