The conference will be chaired, as ever, by the inimitable James Ogilvy - Luxury Briefing’s founder, and for the first time, co- chaired by Susan Aaronson - founder of cult US blog Suzanne’s Files and international taste-maker. Nick Jones, founder of Soho House; Mary-Adair Macaire, the new CEO behind Pringle; Marc Worth, CEO of Stylus and founder of WGSN; and Gerry McGovern Design Director of Land Rover; will be leading the thinking on how luxury must evolve in the next decade of the noughties. There will be commentary from regular Luxury Briefing contributors: “This conference is bigger, better and more glamorous than it’s ever been” said James Ogilvy. “For the first time we’re holding the conference over two half days to facilitate even more networking time, with a fabulous dinner and an elegant after-party. It will be a date in the calendar not to be missed for the great and the good of the industry, and will ignite the conversation on luxury and where it’s going in 2011 and beyond. With so many issues facing the industry, such as sustainability, the digital revolution and credit crunch pressures, there is no better time to get together and hear what the real experts have to say.” -Ends # # # Luxury Briefing was founded by James Ogilvy 14 years ago as an intelligence report of the industry and remains today the only publication of its kind, and the industry bible.
