Southwestern Community College Renews Membership with CampusEAI Consortium

Nov. 18, 2010 - PRLog -- - Southwestern Community College (SWCC), located in Sylva, North Carolina, has renewed its multi-year relationship with the CampusEAI Consortium and will continue leveraging CampusEAI's myCampus, a Cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service campus portal solution that provides prospective and current students, faculty and staff with access to their academic and social information all in one place.

Since SWCC's launch of myCampus in June 2009, the institution has achieved the following milestones1:
•   Launching the myCampus portal for students, faculty and staff
•   Launching the CampusEAI Oracle  Portal, including pre-built integration portlets
•   Providing direct access to Datatel  features within the portal through deep linking
•   Integration with Google  Apps, including:
o   Gmail  
o   Google  Calendar
o   Google  Contacts
o   Google  Docs
•   Assistance with general improvements and redesign of the SWCC campus portal

In addition to continued use and support of the myCampus portal system, SWCC will receive further CampusEAI solutions and services as part of their renewal package, including:
•   Complimentary implementation of the new myCampus Password Management Suite
•   Complimentary bundle of consulting hours with CampusEAI technical engineers, worth $6,000
