His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum Graces National Day Event in Festival City

Dec. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- The second of December 1971 will always remain a shining day for the government and people of the UAE as its shine sparkles and illuminates other days of the year. UAE Nationals and Expatriates thronged to the Festival City on Thursday morning to celebrate the 39th National Day of the UAE and to participate in the cultural activities. While most Emiratis turned up in their national dress and with tricolour shawls bearing the emblem of the national flag, most children were seen proudly waving the national flag in the festival activities.

His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum opened the festival by standing with Emiritis and Expatriates in the respect of UAE National Anthem. In his statement His Highness Sheikh Butti Bin Suhail Al Maktoum said  It is amazing to see the Emiritis and Expatriates celeberating the National day together he added  We the UAE nationals are thanksful to all the expatriets for not only bringing their expertise to the country but also putting their love in to the country.

Other happenings at the event include; a henna tent, Arabic perfumes, hospitality services, paintings by an english artist, music and traditional dances.
