It's Official- Floating Islands Ready for Delivery to Reseda!

Dec. 7, 2010 - PRLog -- It’s official!  The 5,000+ square feet of floating islands custom created for Reseda Lake are complete and awaiting delivery.  There are over 100 modules which will be transported from the tiny town of Mokelumne Hill, California to the city of Reseda in Los Angeles.  The island modules, manufactured by Floating Islands West, are scheduled to arrive early next week where the production crew will then begin the task of assembly and preparation.

If you have an interest in participating in a truly amazing effort, join us on Friday or Saturday, as Floating Islands West and volunteers plant and launch these unique manmade islands into the lake.

LOCATION: Reseda Park (18411 Victory Blvd, Reseda, CA 91335)
DATES: 12/17/2010 – 12/18/2010 (Friday & Saturday)
TIME: 10AM – 2PM

Activities will take place Friday, December 17th – Saturday, December 18th from 10AM – 2PM.  Students from Reseda High School will also be actively participating in this effort to clean and restore the lake.  Bring your gloves and a packed lunch and get ready to have some fun!
