Follow on Google News | New Novel Uncovers Secrets to What Dreams MeanA recently released novel delves into what dreams mean and explains how to find these secrets out personally. Non-fiction self-help author Dr. Robert C. Worstell, explored lucid dreaming and dream control through his new novel, "The Dreamer Dreamed."
By: Midwest Journal Press "It seemed the logical next step in researching the human condition," Dr. Worstell commented in a recent interview, "achieving enlightenment has become a simple series of steps now, so the other major area that is left is the undiscovered country of dreams." Dr. Worstell has been researching the human condition for over 35 years, devoting the last decade almost exclusively to boiling down the essence of what makes self-help and personal development programs successful. While this research resulted in publishing over two dozen books, as well as numerous whitepapers, articles, videos, and podcasts, Dr. Worstell is also known for maintaining several dozen blogs just to keep up with his prolific output. His recent novel, "The Dreamer Dreamed" is available through Lulu.com (http://www.lulu.com/ Dr. Worstell credits National Novel Writing Month and nanowrimo.org for the impetus to write this last work. "Actually, I had finished up my serious work on self-help, writing my final book in that earlier this year. I was reminded that November had this challenge going, so it was a perfect platform to explore a spiritual training topic that had been back-burnered for quite a while." The Dreamer Dreamed took him about 1 1/2 weeks to write, and then a few more weeks to edit and publish. Using Lulu.com made it simple, as well as his graphic arts background and years of experience editing. No stranger to controversy, Dr. Worstell mentions that this novel solves age-old conundrums such as astral walking, remote viewing, and accessing the Akashic Records. While he doesn't give these answers out directly in his book, the references are there so that anyone can find them. He also notes that this makes nightmares understandable - and so less scary. Another interesting point is that he's also included a Prequel for one of the characters, plus a section-by-section commentary to explain the more metaphysical and philosophic points touched on during the scope of the novel. This is all designed, along with a readable format, so that it's easy to grasp these former exclusively ivory tower academic concepts.
