DIT Introduces the NEW RDKB Series of Highly Configurable 1U 17" Deep Rack Mount Keyboard Drawers

Dec. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- With the introduction of the New 1U 17" Deep RDKB Series Keyboard Drawer DIT provides an unprecedented level of configurability. The RDKB consists of a short depth rigid 17"* frame which mounts in racks 17-30" in depth, and provides for positive control and retention of cables via an integrated cable management arm.

The RDKB platform is based on DIT's successful line of modular LCD/Keyboard drawers. Which ensures that the RDKB is inherently configurable. This design allows for a variety of user definable options to tailor the drawer to a unique project and/or environment. The keyboard selection includes an array of Industrial and Rugged/Sealed solutions with integrated touchpads, trackballs, or a companion mouse. Some keyboards also provide integrated backlight capabilities with NVIS compliance. In addition to these keyboard/input options the customer can also choose from a variety of front face options such as; latches or locks, handles, and even premium amplified front speakers with volume control.

The initial RDKB-17I.R1 configuration offers up a Full Size Optical Mouse, and an Industrial Grade 103 Key Keyboard.  In addition there is a large working area/wrist rest with mouse pad which lifts up to provide access to a sizeable storage area below.  This storage area is ideal for User Documents, USB Hubs, iPods, or other devices.

*The RDKB is also available in a 20" Deep version for use with various KVMs.
