Marcus Davin and Mike Franke-Benchmark Financial Group SCAM-Caveat Emptor!

Dec. 11, 2010 - PRLog -- Benchmark Financial Group Located in Aliso Viejo, California is a group that is supposed to specialize in equipment financing.  What I have discovered is that they specialize in taking money from small businesses. The CEO of the company is Marcus Davin and is ultimately responsible of the business practices his company engages in.

This is how the scam works.  You are a company looking for capital for your small business.  Benchmark Financial Group offers to get you the funding and to show their commitment, they offer a fast pre-approval and decent rates.  Once you send them a check for first and last months payments, they stop being so nice.  They will delay getting you the funding or change the terms of the loan on you.  When you refuse to accept the new terms, they state you broke the agreement and now they are entitled to your funds.

I dealt with Mike Franke, a completely unscrupulous man who seemed to be a saint.  After getting me a quick approval, I sent a check for first and last months payments along with the document fee.  After 45 days, i find out from the vendor that I was obtaining financing for that I was not approved.  Never once, did Mike Franke alert me that I was not approved.  They practice stall tactics and ultimately you are left without any funding.

Marcus Davin is the CEO of Benchmark Financial Group.  He is fully aware of the practices.  Please do a search on Benchmark Financial Group and check with the company's credibility on Better Business Bureau website.  Marcus Davin and Mike Franke are meant to work together.  

Stay away from Benchmark Financial Group as there are plenty of other legitimate sources of funding
