Club Z! Awards $1,300 in Scholarships to Guilford County Students

Dec. 15, 2010 - PRLog -- The results are in and your local Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Annual Achievement Award turned out to be a huge success! Students from all backgrounds and with all levels of skills and abilities had an opportunity to showcase their individual talents in an attempt to win over $10,000 in scholarship prizes. A fantastic effort was made by all applicants and 4 local winners were ultimately chosen.

Local student Buthainah Al Rifaie, of Southwest Guilford High School was selected not only for a $200 award from the local award committee, but was selected for a $500 honorable mention from the national committee as well.

John Davis of Northwest Guilford High School, as well as Kalen Quinn, and Courtney Matherly both of Northern Guilford High School were all three selected by the local committee to receive $200 awards as well.

Open to students with all levels of talents and abilities, the Club Z! Annual Achievement Award has something to offer for all students in grades 5 through 12. So whether your student is a steadfast scholar or has shown steady improvement, a helper in the classroom or a leader on the field, can write a thoughtful essay or even a math whiz, the Club Z! Annual Achievement Award has something for all!

Cash scholarship awards worth over $10,000 will be presented to the winning applicants across the nation every year. Winning entries are judged based on performance, service, merit and achievement.
