A welcome reception for the beaux and their parents was held on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, NJ.  The Foundation will host its bi-weekly workshops for the beaux at Rutgers University as well.  Lloyd Freeman, chairman of the beautillion noted, "There is a great benefit to exposing the students to a college campus during the program.  The environment promotes a spirit of academia and excites the young men as they prepare to enter college themselves."

In its three year existence, the beautillion has more than tripled the number of its participants and broadened its reach to include students from throughout the state.  Parent Sherry Ransom now has her second son enrolled in the beautillion and praises Kappa Alpha Psi for its work with the youth.  Mrs. Ransom remarked, "After witnessing the tremendous impact the beautillion had on my oldest son when he participated, I couldn't miss out on this opportunity for my second son.  I would recommend this program to any parent wishing to surround their son with positive male role models."
