Consumer Awareness on Commerce Day 2010

Dec. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- To cumulate the activities of entrepreneurs of commerce section, Consumer Awareness (COMMERCE DAY) was organized in St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar. Mr. Anant Sharma (President of Cans) was the guest of honour for the day. He was welcomed florally by Director Dr. Sudhir K. Singh, Mr. Anant Sharma inaugurated the function by garlanding Lord Ganesha.

Senior students of commerce section put stalls of various products and eatables in the school campus. Students of other classes were quite excited, they purchased eatables and other products from stalls. Through this students could know their rights and duties as CONSUMERS.

The guest speaker spoke about the various right of consumer and showed them the way on how the students as a consumer can protect themselves from being cheated.

To spread awareness about consumer’s rights and duties. Drawing and Debate Competitions were organized in Middle & Secondary Section respectively.

In the end, Principal Mrs. Meena Singh proposed vote of thanks and highlighted the importance of such activities in students life.
