Follow on Google News | Brina Palcencia and Jon Christie to Host Throwing Stones Web Series Live Show on Mingle Media TVStarting January 5th at 8 PM EST, Mingle Media TV will be hosting a LIVE weekly web TV show for the 8 Episodes of Throwing Stones Web Series hosted by cast members Brina Palcencia and Jon Christie.
By: Leslie Harris Brina plays Finley James in the web series, Throwing Stones, and is also known for her work in the animated feature "Summer Wars" which is currently getting a lot of Oscar buzz. (She's also been in many TV series and shorts such as Dragon Ball Z Kai, Soul Eater, The Girl from Hell). Jon's written and produced several well-received plays in Dallas and he plays Jackson Cole in Throwing Stones, the snarky journalism student who's video yearbooks ultimately aided Assistant Principal Beckett in his search for the broken windows of Blair High. Together, Brina Palcencia and Jon Christie will be co-hosting the Throwing Stones live web show on Mingle Media TV each week starting January 5, 2011 at 8 PM EST. Throwing Stones is a horror story about a group of high schoolers who have to attend Saturday School and find they must work together to overcome their differences in over to survive when students end up missing. As if, high school wasn't scary enough! The series stars Lindsay Seidel (Lionsgate hit The Final), Cherami Leigh (The Mist, Fast Food Nation, HBO’s Temple Grandin), Rebekah Kennedy (upcoming horror features Blood is Blood, House Hunting, and Season of the Witch w/ Nic Cage), Chad Cox (Powder, ER, Spin City, The Good Guys), and Kayla Carlyle (From the Dark), Lynn Andrews III (MTV’s: High School Stories). Writers Bart D. Van Bemmel and Jason A. Wheeler have five feature-length screenplays in production including their dark comedies BUTTERSCOTCH, SWISHER, ANGELS AND DUST, their teen comedy RUSHED, and their teen horror THROWING STONES (which this web series if based on).
