The Superapad Epad a.k.a. the FlyTouch 2 by Orphan Electronics is a low cost tablet. "How much?" Well, let's go through the features first.

To make this a fair review Tablet PC review, let's go through the things the Super Pad does not have.

It lacks a capacitive multi-touch screen, while the 10.2" Flytouch II does not have capactive screen, its screen is very responsive. There is also a capactive Flytouch3 whose screen is only 8 inches. If capactive apad's are a must for you the 9.7" IM890 iPed, 8” Wopad iPed , and the latest 9.7" Mythink MT1.

Now, that that is over, let us get to why the SuperPad Tablet is a real Android threat.

1) Android 2.1 Operating System. The Superpad ePad comes pre-installed with everything you need to get rolling; it even has the official Google Android Market on it. The Android market has tons of free games (the Superpad has built G-sensor for 3D gaming), free software applications and apps you can buy as well.

The real reason we like google android as opposed to the Apple OS or Microsoft Windows 7 is before android = Freedom. You are not looked down into paying outrageous amounts of money to use 3g Wifi Internet, download Mp3 songs or Movies and music videos.

2) Adding to this newfound freedom is the hardware of the Flying Touch. First off, it boasts a A11 1ghz CPU (clocks just as fast as the Cortex a8 Freescale A8). This will allow you to browse Flash Sites (adding to freedom, Apple does not support Flash sites), like Youtube, etc.

There is also a built-in Camera. Use the cam to take pictures, or, as an online webcam for chatting on programs like skype, msn, facebook etc.

If you out of the US the Superpad Epad also supports external Broadband 3G internet via the USB Modem: Wm-588.  Just insert your 3g sim card into the WM-588 and you are on the 3G Wcdma network! With the iPhone you would be stuck with an expensive monthly data contract.

3) Larger 10.2" screen, GPS Antenna and cheaper price tag. It only runs $217.99 with free worldwide shipping.
