The Pong Network First Pong Friday Event in Amsterdam

Jan. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- The Pong Network is the brainchild of Daniel Fennessy and Bart Kalisvaart, founders of Amplify Media and Kaliz, both Online Marketing companies in Amsterdam.

The Pong Network came about through their love (actually its an addiction) for the game of Ping Pong and for meeting interesting and inspiring people. Lets face it, most meet-ups and networking events can be dull and it's not always easy to meet people in a comfortable and relaxed manner.

The great thing about the Pong Network as a meet-up/networking event is that it is based on a common interest, Ping Pong. People relax more when they are playing a game as fun as pong, a game that everyone can play (or at least attempt to play). The idea is to bring business professionals from all walks of life together in one room to play the wonderful game of pong with the added bonus of meeting people, getting inspired and exchanging ideas.

We are excited to be working on the first Pong Friday ever, so get your pong bats and get ready to meet some interesting people. Pong Friday will be held on the 25th of February 2011 at 7PM somewhere in Amsterdam. The venue is yet to be decided, but if you go to http://www.meetup.com/thepongnetwork/ you can sign up and already start connecting with other players. When the venue is confirmed we’ll let you know here first.

Don't worry if your pong skills are not up to scratch or if you don't have a bat. Just have a go and be ready for a refreshing new way of networking.
