Dr. Houshang Seradge and the Oklahoma Foundation for Orthopedic Health Donate Medical Supplies

Jan. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Dr. Houshang Seradge and The Oklahoma Foundation for Orthopedic Health (OFOH) recently donated a truck full of medical supplies and equipment to the Salvation Army. “The supplies, which included wheel chairs, crutches, surgical gloves and other equipment were excess equipment that we wanted to be sure were being used by people who needed it. Since the Salvation Army responds to so many disasters and helps people with such a wide variety of needs, we felt they could most benefit from the supplies,” stated Oklahoma City hand surgeon, Dr. Seradge,  “We are happy to be able to partner with another non-profit organization to help the people of our community of Oklahoma City,” added Seradge.

The Oklahoma Foundation for Orthopedic health is a non-profit organization that provides orthopedic care and surgery for the working poor; those who are working, but are either uninsured or underinsured. In addition, OFOH offers free education on prevention and treatment of orthopedic and related issues for school age children and adults. The physicians and therapists at the Orthopedic Institute support the foundation, both financially and through donated surgeries, therapy and education seminars.
