Her Christian faith, Bible study, self-development courses, wide reading, and prayer brought her through as a whole person. At age 47, Liz found another whole person in her second husband, who is also a Christian.

She writes in the hope that her hindsight will help to give others foresight in making difficult
choices, like how to deal with mental illness, and when it is time to leave a marriage.
