Bangalore Hosts 7th ITechLaw International Asian Conference

Jan. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Bangalore, January 31, 2011: Bangalore is all set to play host to the seventh edition of ITechLaw International Asian Attorneys Conference, 2011, the largest annual lawyers’ conference in India, on February 3 and 4, 2011. ITechLaw India is attended by over 60 international and 200 domestic lawyers and other experts.
The Keynote Address for the conference will be delivered by Justice N. Santosh Hegde, Karnataka Lokayukta. The conference will focus on the latest issues in regulatory, corporate, commercial and tax law being faced by IT, ITES, emerging and growth industries in India and Asia as well as the U.S. and Europe, including issues relating to the Telecom Industry, Patent related issues, open source and software development, UID, banking, new media entertainment, and semiconductors. The theme of the conference is Technology Law in the Era of Changing Business Paradigm. The conference will introduce emerging areas of law and practice and also provide opportunities for networking with regulators, judges and lawyers from India, as well as from the rest of Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, North America and South America.
Speaking about the conference Sandra A. The conference will also see the Travelling Fellowship Award awarded to a young Indian lawyer (in house or practicing attorney), giving him or her the opportunity to travel and work with several prestigious law firms in Europe and possibly in the USA. Some of the exclusive events at the conference include the opening of the conference with an Art Show on the evening of February 2, 2011 by young emerging Indian artists and I-WIN Meeting on February 4, 2011 open only to women lawyers to deliberate on issues currently being faced by women in the legal profession.
