Edge-banding for cabinets is a relatively new technology that is still quite rare in North American markets, but has been more widely adopted in Europe. The finished edge is designed to provide superior bond strength and increased heat and moisture resistance. Additionally, the aluminum banding prevents the cabinets from chipping and splitting, making for cabinetry that’s high in both quality and style.
