It is a fast acting agent, waterproof – stays effective even after the bath or swim or even in sunlight. Mainly it acts on flea life cycle so as to prevent future flea and tick infestations. Fipronil blocks the chloride channels and attack insect’s nervous system. S-Methoprene on the other hand is nothing but a hormone which regulates many aspects of the insect’s body.
